Fraggle Rock Beach (Mattawa)

Swim from this sandy beach on the bank of the Mattawa River. The beach is located at the end of the boardwalk on Mattawan Street in Mattawa.

Centennial Park, Bonfield

This park on Mark Street in Bonfield, adjacent to picturesque Lake Nosbonsing, has a beach, picnic area, boardwalk, play equipment and a large play area. Mattawa Island Conservation Area, Mattawa

The Mattawa Island Conservation Area (Mattawa)

Located off Bissett Street in Mattawa, offers a sandy beach for swimming, tennis and volley ball courts and a picnic area. It is also the finish point for the annual Mattawa River Canoe Race. Kaibuskong Park, Bonfield Kaibuskong Park has a sandy beach with a shallow swimming area suitable for children. The park also offers a picnic area, playground equipment and space for group sports. The park is located at 365 Highway 531, adjacent to the Bonfield Township Municipal Office.

Moore Lake (Samuel de Champlain Park)

Visit the Bagwa Day use area in Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park for a sandy beach, picnic area and launch point for paddling scenic Moore Lake. The park is 15 km west of the town of Mattawa on Highway 17. There is a charge for visiting the park.
