Nöel en Boîte is an independent Romantic comedy feature film by Writer/DirectorJocelyn Forgues. The production was filmed in Mattawa, Powassan and North Bay. Nöel en Boîte is a co-production between Sandbay Entertainment and Distinct Features (producers of Hard Rock Medical).

The week before Christmas Sophie Stone, an American Soap star, is confronted with pictures of her in a compromising position with an unidentified man. To get her hands on the negatives, she makes a deal with a photographer from an entertainment rag and gives him exclusive access to her over the Christmas holiday with her dysfunctional family in her small Northern hometown.

Nöel en Boîte is a predominantly French language film and deeply rooted in Franco-Ontarian culture. It stars Janick Hébert and Zachary Amzallag with an emsemble supporting cast which features Sudbury’s Stéphane Paquette, Hélene Dallaire and Olivia Despatie as well as North Bay natives Phillipe Poirier, Lisa Boivin and newcomer Maxime Lauzon. The film will features a half-dozen English actors from North Bay including Chris Farquhar, Kelly Boegel and Jim Calarco.

The director Jocelyn Forgues and one of the Stars Stef Paquette will be there for the screening. They will do a Q&A after the screening.
